Lady Chopped in Twain

Although this automaton features the same characters as Lady Saw'd in Twain, the composition itself differs significantly. For a greater dramatic effect Anatoly gave the magician a big, heavy sword instead of a saw. Of course, in this case the scene required the Lady's box to turn onto its side.

Even more impressive was the addition of drums and a gong to the musical mechanism. A drum roll accompanies the movement of the sword. The complex mechanism of this doll includes ten movements, including the music and the added instuments.

Here is a video of the performance.
